DURANGO – August 22, 2017 – The Fort Lewis College Department of Athletics will be debuting the Skyhawks Sports Network on Saturday, Sept. 2.  The Skyhawks football team will play the first home game of the year when they host Chadron State College at 12 p.m.
 
"The Network is a great way to share the Fort Lewis College experience through the eyes and voices of our faculty, staff, students and alumni," said Mark Jastorff, Vice President for Advancement at Fort Lewis College.  "We're looking forward to sharing what is happening here in a way that reveals just how special this place and our people are."
 
The Skyhawks Sports Network will be available on the Skyhawks portal on Stretch Internet: https://portal.stretchinternet.com/fortlewis/. The Skyhawks Sports Network will be a complete in-house production, featuring videos, interviews, promotions, and upcoming events surrounding Fort Lewis College.
 
"One of the most exciting parts of the Skyhawk Sports Network is the opportunity to involve students," said Mitch Davis, FLC Public Affairs Officer and producer of the Skyhawks Sports Network. "The kind of work our students will be able to do for SSN is something that not a lot of undergraduates get to do."
 
Fans can view all home and away football, volleyball and basketball games for free on Stretch Internet.  In addition, SSN will also broadcast all home soccer, softball and women's lacrosse home games on Stretch.
