Chuck Krul*

William C. "Chuck" Krul was among the finest athletes in Fort Lewis College history. As a football player, he earned all-conference and All-America honors as a tailback and quarterback. As a tennis player, he was among the best in Fort Lewis College's junior college era. He also lettered one year in basketball.

Mr. Krul attended New Mexico and played football for the Lobos after receiving an associate's degree from Fort Lewis College in 1952.

After graduating, Mr. Krul was employed with local Chrysler and Dodge dealers for 27 years. He remained active in athletics, officiating basketball and football games while becoming a top Four Corners softball pitcher.
