He was a three time Academic All-RMAC (1991-93) and two-time All-RMAC honorable mention (1992-93) performer. He is currently the head football coach at Durango High School.
"I never played with a fiercer competitor than Shane Voss," said former teammate and Skyhawk Booster Club President Thad Trujillo, himself a past Hall of Fame inductee. "He endured unbelievable adversity, such as a broken back, to become on of the greatest linebackers at Fort Lewis College. he is now a coach with intergrity, class and the same burning desire to succeed as when we played together in college. I am honored to be in the Hall of Fame with Shane."
