March 29, 2010. Durango, CO-  The Fort Lewis College Golf Team had their first spring tournament this past weekend in Albuquerque.  The Skyhawks tied for 7th place of the nine team field at the Mustang Intercollegiate Tournament.  As a team, the Skyhawks finished the three day tournament with a combined total of 788 points.  The Hawks were led by Devin Schreiner who placed 28th and shot a total of 196 for 16+  over par in the 45 holes played.  Also placing in the tournament were Skyhawks David Schroeder who shot a 197 (17+), Gavin Lyons who also shot a 197 (17+), Doug Manske who shot a 198 (18+), and Michael Adams who shot a 205 (18+). 

The Skyhawks next spring tournament will be on March 29 at the Grand Canyon Spring Invite in Arizona.
