April 1, 2010. Durango, CO- The Fort Lewis College Golf Team had a rough showing this past week at the Grand Canyon Thunderbird Invitational tournament in Arizona.  As a team, the Skyhawks finished the three day tournament with 910 total points, 46 over par, coming in 15th out of the 17 teams present.  Leading the Skyhawks was David Schroeder who placed 58th and shot a score of 226, coming in 10+ over par.  Close behind him came Devin Schriener who placed 62 and shot a 227 (11+) and  Doug Manske who placed 63 and shot a 228 (12+).  Also placing for the Hawks was Gavin Lyons who shot 231 (15+) and John Toplyn who finished with a score of 237 (21+).

The Skyhawks are now finished with their regular season tournaments and will now start preparing for the RMAC tournament coming up on April 18th.
