Alex Herrera led the Skyhawks in a home split against Colorado Mesa (L) and Western State (W) on Dec. 20 & 21.

Herrera averaged 25.5 points, 15.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.5 blocked shots, and made 57.6 percent from the floor (19-33) and 65 percent from the charity stripe (13-20).

In a win Sunday afternoon against the Mountaineers, Herrera notched a team high 24 points on 9-of-14 field goals and 6-of-10 free throws, a game high 15 rebounds, and he added three assists and two blocked shots.
