Megan Longtain and the Skyhawks went 2-1 in Michigan last week, earning wins against Davenport University and Aquinas College, before suffering a setback to Grand Valley State. She was part of a defensive unit that held Davenport to 10 shots and Aquinas to 4 shots. Against Grand Valley State Longtain had 4 ground balls and 2 caused turnovers.

Longtain recorded her first assist of the year against Aquinas College. She also had one shot on goal.

The defensive specialist has two points this season on one goal and one assist.

This is Longtain’s first FLC Student-Athlete of the Week Award.
