The Fort Lewis College men's cross country team opened the 2015 season a solid third place finish at the Adams State University Joe Vigil Open Saturday in Alamosa, Colo.

The Skyhawks pack time in the top seven runners was just over two minutes (2:15). Leading the Skyhawks men's team was William Scoggins who finished 14^th overall in 27:32.40.

In the men's 8K race, host school ASU tallied 15 points followed by CMU's 55 points and the Skyhawks 93 points. Regis finished fourth overall with 118 points, followed by WNMU with 138 and Colorado College with 143.
