Fort Lewis College Athletics

Fort Lewis College senior Ellie Carpenter led the Skyhawks to two season-opening road wins this past weekend.  Fort Lewis defeated Colorado State University-Pueblo on Saturday, 14-8, followed by a 13-3 win at Adams State University on Sunday.
 
A midfielder from Salt Lake City, Utah, Carpenter recorded back-to-back hat tricks to open the 2016 season. She scored four goals in a 14-8 win at CSU-Pueblo on Saturday and went 2-2 in free position shots. On Sunday in a 13-3 win, she added three goals. Carpenter recorded seven goals with all 12 shots landing on goal. She picked up four ground balls and won three draw controls.
