Emma Alaimo broke a school record as the Fort Lewis College women's indoor track and field team opened their season on Saturday at the Adams State University Early Grizzly Open in Alamosa, Colo.

Emma placed fourth in the long jump with a new school record of 5.13 meters (16-10.00 feet), breaking Bridget Ganntt's mark of 4.91 meters.
