Fort Lewis College sophomore Emma Alaimo set a new Fort Lewis College women's outdoor track and field triple jump record Saturday afternoon at the Colorado State-Pueblo Early Bird Open. Alaimo recorded a mark of 11.45 meters to win the event, breaking Alexis Cox' record of 11.26 meters.

Alaimo also ran in the 200-meter dash, placing fifth with a time of 26.73.
