Tukumoeatu helped power a Skyhawk defense that forced five turnovers and returned two for touchdowns in a 34-14 win over Black Hills State. Tukumoeatu had one of the returns for touchdown we he picked off a pass at the Yellow Jacket 42 and returned it for a touchdown late in the third quarter to help push FLC to a 34-7 lead.

He led the team in tackles with seven, including six solo stops. Tukumoeatu also recovered a fumble and secured an on-side kick try. For the season he is fourth on the team in tackles with 20, with 13 solo. He also has a half-tackle for loss and six passes defended.
