McCannon took home Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week. He delivered the game-tying 49-yard field goal with just one second left against Adams State. He also connected on a 33-yarder in the second quarter. In addition he added four extra points and had three touchbacks. His game-tying kick is tied for the longest in a game in the RMAC this year.
