Trumbo was strong in the three games she appeared in this week, posting a 0.93 ERA in 15 innings of work that included two starts. In the finale of the pod series against CSU-Pueblo, Trumbo went all seven innings and allowed just two earned runs with four strikeouts and no walks in getting the 3-2 win. She also added a save in the first game against the ThunderWolves working a perfect 1.2 innings in relief. Trumbo ended up starting both games Sunday after going 6.1 innings against Chadron State and didn’t allow an earned run and added six strikeouts. She didn’t allow a walk in the three games and only one extra base hit which was a double. Trumbo ended up going 1-1 with a save.
