DURANGO, CO - September 1, 2007 - The Fort Lewis College volleyball team defeated the visiting Thunderwolves of CSU-Pueblo Saturday afternoon in a non-conference match on the final day of the 2007 Skyhawk Volleyball Classic. The Skyhawks grabbed the win in three games (30,-27, 30-23, 30-28) as they cruised to their third win of the season.

Nicole Schwab (Loveland, CO/Loveland), Sara Feehan (Berthoud, CO/Berthoud) and Jessica Bailey (Ridgefield, WA/Prairie) combined for 33 kills in the three games, while Schwab added four blocks. Bailey recorded a .385 hitting percentage (11 kills, 1 error, 26 attempts).

Feehan and Adrianne Dettler (Colorado Springs, CO/Palmer) both grabbed 20 digs in the win. Sophomore setter Melissa Childs (Vista, CA/Rancho Bueno Vista) dished out 38 assists.

The Skyhawks play later today against Dixie State in the Skyhawk Volleyball Classic finale.
