DURANGO, CO - September 8, 2007 - The Fort Lewis College volleyball team lost 0-3 (27-30, 25-30, 22-30) to the Mustangs of Western New Mexico earlier tonight in their second match in as many nights. The Skyhawks fall to 5-5 overall and 1-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC), while the Mustangs improve to 6-4 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

Chelsea Flaming (Durango, CO/Durango) led the Skyhawks with 14 kills in the match. She recorded only two errors on 26 attempts (.462 hitting percentage).

Melissa Childs (Vista, CA/Rancho Bueno Vista) tallied 36 kills in the match, while Sara Feehan (Berthoud, CO/Berthoud) led the team with 16 digs.

The Skyhawks return to action Friday, September 14th at 7 p.m. when they host Adams State in the Whalen Athletic Center.
