Fort Lewis Knocks Off UCCS Ties CSU Pueblo Friday

The Fort Lewis College men's soccer team headed to Pueblo and Colorado Springs this weekend and came back with a win over UCCS 5-0 and a tie with CSU-Pueblo 1-1.  With the games the Skyhawks move to 11-1-3 and 7-0-3 in RMAC play.

In today's contest the Skyhawks got off to a quick start scorin in the third minute on a Keane Hamilton goal which would be the game winning goal.  For Lewis brought their full arsenal Sunday with five different players scoring on the day and four different players assisting on the goals.  Goal wise Paul Sanchez, Euan Purcell, Jaime Cunningham and Joe Brandt all scoring in addition to hamilton.  Assists were credited to Byron Cephers, Tom Settle, Paul Sanchez, Sam Morris and Thomas Hoang.

The Skyhawks next match will be contested on Friday Colorado Christian and Sunday Colorado School of mines.  The Skyhawks next home game will be on Halloween against Metro State.
