The Fort Lewis College Skyhawks beat Colorado Christian in four sets Friday to improve their record to 12-4 (7-1 RMAC). The Skyhawks handily won the first two sets 2519 and 25-14. In the Third set the Skyhawks played got some young players such as Haley Jennings and Adrianna Saiz some playing time and were competitive but fell short 25-20.  The Skyhawks finished the task in the fourth set when the veterans returned and won 25-18.

Jessica Bailey again led the way hitting for the Skyhawks notching 17 kills and a .469 hitting percentage only bettered by teammate Taylor Hillberry who hit a .667 with 8 kills.  Melissa Childs notched 41 set assists with three aces and six kills.  Defensively Jessica Wilson led the Hawks with 15 digs while Jessica Bailey led the team in blocks with three total blocks one solo and four assists.

The Skyhawks are back in action tomorrow night taking on Metro State who earlier Friday night beat Mesa State in five sets giving Fort Lewis sole possession of the RMAC west division lead
