The Fort Lewis women's soccer team falls to Metro State ending their chances of hosting the the RMAC playoffs and all but ensuring that the Skyhawks will travel to Metro State in Denver next week. The Skyhawks fall to 10-5-2 and 9-2-1 in RMAC play and can clich a bye in the first round with a win on Sunday.
Fort Lewis as a team actually outshot the Roadrunners 10-6 and 6-5 in shots on goal. The two Roadrunner goals were scored by their forwards Becca Mays and Jen Thomas both with less than 20 minutes left to play.
The Skyhawks will take on Regis on Sunday on senior day. It will likely be the Hawks last home match of the season.
