October 20, 2009. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Fort Lewis College in Durango will host the 2009 RMAC Men's Soccer Tournament November 6-8 at Dirks Field. The Skyhawks lead the RMAC with a 12-0-0 record.
In previous seasons, the tournament host was not announced until after the regular season was concluded. But this year, in an effort to save membership expenses and maintain "student-athlete life in the balance" the RMAC has instituted a pilot program to determine the hosts of RMAC tournaments.
In men's soccer, the highest seeded team with two weeks remaining in the regular season and a bid approved by the RMAC Championships Committee was named tournament host.
Dirks Field is located on the campus of Fort Lewis College in Durango. Tickets for adults will be $10 for one day or $15 for two days. Students are $3 for one day and $5 for two days. Fans will also be able to watch the semi-finals and championship via the B2 networks for $8 per game. Tournament passes will be available for purchase online at the following link.
