FLC to Host RMAC Men's Soccer Tourney

October 20, 2009. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Fort Lewis College in Durango will host the 2009 RMAC Men's Soccer Tournament November 6-8 at Dirks Field. The Skyhawks lead the RMAC with a 12-0-0 record.

In previous seasons, the tournament host was not announced until after the regular season was concluded. But this year, in an effort to save membership expenses and maintain "student-athlete life in the balance" the RMAC has instituted a pilot program to determine the hosts of RMAC tournaments.

In men's soccer, the highest seeded team with two weeks remaining in the regular season and a bid approved by the RMAC Championships Committee was named tournament host.
