LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Ali and Andi Weber combined for 22 kills to lead Colorado Christian (11-10 overall, 6-4 in the
Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) to a 25-22, 25-18, 25-20 sweep of Fort Lewis (5-13, 2-8) tonight at the CCU Event Center.

Fort Lewis played without starting libero
Jenna Kinzer, who injured her back in last Sunday's game against Western State and remained in Durango to rehabilitate her injury. Still, head coach Shelly Aaland found plenty of positives in the match.
“We played a much-improved Colorado Christian team and I was impressed by our willingness to continue to compete,” she said. “Things are still improving. We just couldn't overcome their firepower, which was impressive.
Taylor Frederking led the Skyhawk attack with 12 kills, two service aces, and a .346 attack percentage.
Ashley Wells added 15 digs, eight kills, and two blocks.
Ciara Krening, who drew praise from Aaland for her ability to find a variety of hitters, distributed 30 assists. And
Hannah Starbuck – a sophomore who moved into Kinzer's libero role.
CCU's Lauren Rosenthal notched 36 assists and three aces.
The Cougars outkilled the Skyhawks 59-32 and outdug them 59-45.
Fort Lewis continues its three-game road trip through the RMAC East at 6 p.m. tomorrow at No. 24 Colorado Mines (14-5, 8-2) before heading further east to No. 6 Nebraska-Kearney (19-1, 9-1) at 6 p.m. (MST) Saturday.
