The Fort Lewis College volleyball team continues their four match road trip this weekend at Western State Colorado University on Friday, Oct. 30, and at Colorado State University-Pueblo on Saturday, Oct. 31.
 
This weekend's matches will mark the first time the Skyhawks have faced the Mountaineers and ThunderWolves this season.  All three teams compete in the RMAC Mountain Division.
 
The Mountaineers enter the weekend in third place in the Mountain Division and are tied for seventh overall with a 7-6 league record (10-14 overall).  WSCU was won four of their last five matches.
 
FLC is 55-41 all-time against Western State, and 20-19 when playing the Mountaineers on their home court.
 
The ThunderWolves 5-8 RMAC record ranks them sixth in the Mountain Division and 10th overall (tied).  CSUP owns a 7-14 record and have won three of their last four matches.
 
Fort Lewis owns a 43-33 series lead over the Pack.  The Skyhawks trail CSUP, 15-12, on the ThunderWolves home court.
 
The Skyhawks fell to Black Hills State on Friday, 3-0.  It was the first loss the Skyhawks have surrendered to BHSU in their four meetings since the series began in 2011.
 
With Saturday's loss, the Skyhawks are now 1-1 all-time against South Dakota School of Mines.
 
The Skyhawks starting six features one senior (Shelby Lehman), one junior (transfer Delaney Scanlan), one sophomore (Hannah Hargrove), and three freshman (Matisse Monty, Maddie LeBlanc and Hannah Hickman).
 
Junior libero Ally Dell'Amico has the third most digs per set in the RMAC with 4.81 (375 total).
 
Freshman Matisse Monty has served 25 aces this season, the ninth most in the league.
 
As a team, the Skyhawks are ninth in the league in service aces per set (1.24) and third in digs per set (16.27).
