GUNNISON, Colo. – October 30, 2015 – After winning the first set of the match Friday night at Western State Colorado University, 25-23, the Fort Lewis College volleyball team loss the next three sets, 25-9, 25-23 and 25-18.
Friday's loss moves the Skyhawks to 5-17 overall and 2-12 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The Mountaineers improve to 11-14 overall and 8-6 in league matches.
The Skyhawks were led by
Matisse Monty's 13 kills,
Delaney Scanlan's 26 assists, and
Gabriella Hickman's 17 digs.
Fort Lewis hit .131 at the net with 34 kills on 122 attacks.
The Skyhawks will travel to Colorado State University-Pueblo Saturday for a 7 p.m. match.
