Drags Court | Silver City, N.M.Live StatsVideoAfter a four-match home swing, the Fort Lewis College volleyball team will travel to New Mexico Highlands University and Western New Mexico University this Friday and Saturday. First serve will go out at 7 p.m. each night.
New Mexico Highlands enters the weekend with a 4-10 overall record and a 1-6 RMAC record. The Cowgirls are sixth in the Mountain Division and tied for 14th overall in the league.
Western New Mexico sits on top of the league standings and the Mountain Division with an unblemished league record of 7-0. The Mustangs are 12-3 overall.
Fort Lewis holds a 45-33 all-time series advantage over New Mexico Highlands, and a 19-14 record when playing NMHU on their home court. The last time FLC defeated the Cowgirls on their home court was Nov. 1, 2014.
Western New Mexico owns a 28-21 series lead over the Skyhawks and a 9-5 lead when playing FLC on Drag's Court. The last time FLC charted a win at WNMU was Oct. 24, 2009.
Fort Lewis will be looking to snap a 10 match losing streak this weekend on the road. FLC started the season 3-1 at Oklahoma Panhandle State, but have gone 0-10 since the season opening tournament.
Of the Skyhawks six main starters this season, four are new to the program (
Matisse Monty,
Gabriella Hickman,
Maddie LeBlanc,
Delaney Scanlan) and three of which are true freshman (Monty, Hickman, LeBlanc). Sophomore
Hannah Hargrove saw limited playing time as a true freshman last season and senior
Shelby Lehman is a four year letterwinner for the Skyhawks.
Kendra Swackenberg is 10th in the league in service aces with 14 (0.33 service aces per game).

Ally Dell'Amico has the seventh most digs per set in the RMAC with 4.48 (233 total digs).
As a team, the Skyhawks are sixth in the league in service aces per set (1.40) and seventh in digs per set (15.88).
Saturday's opponent - Western New Mexico - leads the RMAC in digs per set (17.79) and opponent hitting percentage (.125).
