ALAMOSA, Colo. – November 14, 2015 – Playing in their final match of the season, the Fort Lewis College volleyball team suffered a 3-1 loss Saturday night at Adams State University (25-16, 21-25, 21-25, 22-25).
The Skyhawks tallied 20 kills and committed only one error on 38 attempts in the first set, and converted 14 of 16 side outs (87 percent). FLC finished the match hitting .187 at the net off of 51 kills.
Kendra Swackenberg and
Delaney Scanlan tallied 21 and 20 set assists, respectively.
Ally Dell'Amico led three players in double digits for digs with 19.
Clara Salopek added 13 digs and
Matisse Monty chipped in 12 digs to go with her team high 16 kills.
Emily Dellenbach posted 11 kills on 39 attempts.
ASU recorded 13 team blocks against the Skyhawks and hit .211 offensively.
FLC ends their season 5-21 overall and 2-16 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
