CHADRON, Neb. – September 18, 2015 – The Fort Lewis College volleyball team opened the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference season Friday night at Chadron State College.  The Skyhawks suffered a 3-0 setback against the Eagles at the Chicoine Center.
 
Fort Lewis was held to a .107 hitting percentage on 30 kills.  Matisse Monty shared team high honors with Alyssa Cortez with seven kills each.  Monty also added a team high 17 digs.  Cortez, who made her first appearance with the Skyhawks tonight, hit .238 at the net.
 
Kendra Swackenberg tallied 14 assists followed by Delaney Scanlan's 11 assists.  Ally Dell'Amico tallied 16 of the Skyhawks 54 digs.
 
Fort Lewis will travel to Regis University for a 5 p.m. match on Saturday.
