After playing their last three games on the road, the Fort Lewis College football team returns home to Ray Dennison Memorial Field on Saturday.  The Skyhawks will play host to #12 Colorado State-Pueblo in the Skyhawks 2017 Homecoming Game.  Kickoff is set for 12 p.m.

FLC enters the game with a 2-4 overall and conference record.  The Skyhawks last win against the ThunderWolves was Oct. 11, 2014.

FLC is fourth in the league in interceptions, recording seven interceptions in six games, including two picks for touchdowns.  FLC also boasts the second most interception return yards in the league (123 yards).

The Skyhawks have committed seven turnovers (four fumbles, three interceptions), while forcing 10 turnovers (seven interceptions, three fumbles).  The Skyhawks +3 turnover margin is third in the league.

Junior Donell Pleasant III is tied for the most interceptions in the league.  Pleasant has three picks in six games for 48 yards.

Freshman Ben Raybon has converted 5-of-7 field goals, the second most made by any kicker in the league.  His 71.4 field goal percentage is also second in the RMAC.  Combined with his five field goals and 11 extra-points, Raybon's 26 points are the sixth most in the league by a kicker.

Linebacker Darrian Stickney has recorded 51 tackles this season, the fifth most in the RMAC. Twenty-two of his tackles have been solo stops.  He is averaging 8.5 tackles per game.

Junior running back Tyler Telphy leads the team and is 10th in the RMAC in rushing.  In five games this season, Telphy has carried the ball 61 times for 361 yards and two scores.  He has eclipsed the 100-yard rushing yards in a game twice.

FLC's clock management is No. 1 in the RMAC, possessing the ball an average of 33:55 minutes per game, nearly two minutes longer than the next opponent.

The ThunderWolves lead the league in scoring offense (40.3 points per game), scoring defense (16.5 points per game), total defense (333.7 yards per game), rushing defense (114.8 yards per game), and interceptions (nine).

The Skyhawks are coming off a come-from behind win on Saturday at Western State.  The team scored 14 points in the final nine minutes and 38 seconds, earning a 14-13 win.

WSCU had a chance to take a 16-0 lead, but a missed 37-yard field goal at 9:47 in the final quarter that gave the Skyhawks the ball on their 20-yard line.  Nine plays and 80 yards later, Bo Coleman capped the scoring drive with a 10-yard run into the endzone.  Ben Raybon put the ball through the uprights for the Skyhawks seventh point with 5:38 left in the game.

On the ensuing drive, Darrian Stickney intercepted WSCU and returned it six yards.  The Skyhawks drive started on the WSCU 39-yard line.  On the seventh play of the drive, Coleman found AJ Shaw for a seven yard touchdown score.  Raybon's extra point attempt was good as FLC took a 14-13 lead with 2:23 remaining.

The Skyhawks defense forced WSCU to turn the ball over on downs, as the Mountaineers completed one of five passes, sealing the win for the Skyhawks, 14-13.
