The Skyhawks return home to play host to South Dakota School of Mines and Technology this Saturday at 12 p.m. from Ray Dennison Memorial Field.
The Hardrockers enter Saturday's game with a 4-4 overall record and a 3-4 mark in the RMAC. SDSMT is 1-3 on the road this season and have earned wins in two of their last three games.
FLC leads the all-time series against the Hardrockers, 2-0. Â The two teams first faced each other in 2011 in a non-conference game at FLC. Â Fort Lewis earned a 53-52 overtime win last year on Oct. 29 in Rapid City, S.D., in the first meeting between the two teams in a RMAC game.

FLC is third in the league in interceptions, recording nine interceptions in eight games, including three picks for touchdowns. Â FLC also boasts the third most interception return yards in the league (158 yards).
The Skyhawks have committed 11 turnovers (six fumbles, five interceptions), while forcing 14 turnovers (nine interceptions, five fumbles). Â The Skyhawks +3 turnover margin is second in the league.
Junior
Donell Pleasant III is tied for the second most interceptions in the league. Â Pleasant has three picks for 48 yards.
Freshman
Ben Raybon has converted 6-of-8 field goals, the second most made by any kicker in the league. Â Combined with his six field goals and 18 extra-points, Raybon's 36 points are the fifth most in the league by a kicker.
Linebacker
Darrian Stickney has recorded 74 tackles this season, the fourth most in the RMAC. Forty-four of his tackles have been solo stops. Â He is averaging 9.2 tackles per game.
Junior running back
Tyler Telphy leads the team and is 10th in the RMAC in all-purpose yards. Â In seven games this season, Telphy has carried the ball 99 times for 532 yards and four scores. Â He has eclipsed 100-yard rushing yards in a game three times.
FLC's clock management is No. 1 in the RMAC, possessing the ball an average of 33:32 minutes per game, more than two minutes longer than the next opponent.
After taking a 17-0 lead into halftime, the Skyhawks were out-scored in the second half, 20-0, as they fell to Western New Mexico last Saturday, 20-17.

The Skyhawks first drive of the game ended in a lost fumble. Â FLC's defense responded, forcing the Mustangs to turn the ball over on downs.Â

The turnover set up FLC's first scoring drive as they started on their own 39-yard line. Â Six plays and 61 yards later,
Tyler Telphy punched it in from one yard out for a 7-0 Skyhawks lead at 7:44 in the first quarter.

FLC added three points to the scoreboard with 3:16 left in the half after
Ben Raybon made a 36-yard field goal. Â

The Skyhawks struck again with only seven ticks left in the half. Â
Tyrell Thomas forced a Mustangs fumble which was recovered by
Isiah Mayberry at the WNMU 42-yard line.
Jake Lowry closed the drive with a nine-yard rush, pushing the Skyhawks lead to 17-0 at the half.Â
The Skyhawks finished with 256 yards of total offense (154 rushing yards).

Telphy carried the ball 18 times for 49 yards and one touchdown. Â Lowry added 42 yards on the ground on nine carries and a touchdown.Â

Mason Hatton caught a team high three passes for 33 yards.

Max Peets punted five times, averaging 48.4 yards per punt. Â His longest of the game was 57 yards.
