Fort Lewis College will play their third straight road game this Saturday when they head to Western State Colorado University. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. in the Mountaineer Bowl.
The Mountaineers are in search of their first win. They are currently 0-5 overall and 0-5 in league games. Saturday will mark the Mountaineers third home game of the season.
WSCU is averaging 12.6 points per game, and allowing 41.8 points per game. The Mountaineers are getting out-scored by their opponents by nearly 30 points per game.
FLC enters the game with a 1-4 overall and conference record. The Skyhawks are looking to snap a two game losing streak from Colorado Mesa and Colorado Mines.
FLC is fourth in the league in interceptions, recording six interceptions in five games, including two picks for touchdowns. FLC also boasts the most interception return yards in the league (117 yards), and the only team to return two pick sixes.
The Skyhawks have committed five turnovers (four fumbles, one interception), while forcing nine turnovers (six interceptions, three fumbles). The Skyhawks +4 turnover margin is third in the league.
Junior
Donell Pleasant III is tied for the most interceptions in the league. Pleasant has three picks in five games, and the most return yards by any player (48 yards, one touchdown).
Freshman
Ben Raybon has converted 5-of-6 field goals, the second most made by any kicker in the league. His 83.3 field goal percentage is also second in the RMAC. Combined with his five field goals and nine extra-points, Raybon's 24 points are the fifth most in the league by a kicker.
Linebacker
Darrian Stickney has recorded 44 tackles this season, the fifth most in the RMAC, and the second most by any linebacker. Twenty-one of his tackles have been solo stops. He is averaging 8.8 tackles per game.
Junior running back
Tyler Telphy leads the team and is ninth in the RMAC in rushing. In four games this season, Telphy has carried the ball 52 times for 309 yards and two scores. In four games, he has eclipsed the 100-yard rushing yards in a game twice.
FLC's clock management is No. 1 in the RMAC, possessing the ball an average of 34:34 minutes per game, nearly three minutes longer than the next opponent.
The Skyhawks are coming off their worst defeat of the season, falling to Colorado School of Mines this past Saturday in Golden, 41-7.
The Skyhawks were held to 11 first downs.

Bo Coleman found
AJ Shaw for a 24-yard pass. The Skyhawks drive started after Donell Pleasant intercepted Cody Limmer and returned the ball 11 yards to the Mines 24-yard line. The next play resulted in the 24-yard scoring pass to cut into the Orediggers lead, 34-7.
FLC had one final chance to add points on the scoreboard. With 65 seconds left in regulation and the Skyhawks with a first-and-goal on the Mines four-yard line, the Orediggers intercepted a pass in the endzone.
