SALT LAKE CITY – November 6, 2017 – The Fort Lewis College volleyball team suffered their third straight road loss Monday night. The Skyhawks lost a 3-1 decision at Westminster College (17-25, 16-25, 25-22, 19-25).
The loss moves FLC to 9-16 overall and 4-13 in league matches. WC improves to 10-16 on the season and 7-11 in the RMAC.
Bailey Longacre accounted for 13.5 points for the Skyhawks, contributing 12 kills and two blocks.
Laine Waters added 14 points with 11 kills (.348 hitting percentage) and five blocks.
Kendra Swackenberg recorded 36 set assists to go with her nine digs and four kills.
Megan Graefe and
Elise Hill led the Skyhawks back row with 24 and 11 digs, respectively.
As a team, the Skyhawks registered 43 kills, 42 set assists, 56 digs and 11 blocks.
The Skyhawks will play their final match of the regular season on Friday at 7 p.m. against New Mexico Highlands University.
