DURANGO – September 8, 2017 – Weather affected the Fort Lewis College women's soccer home opener against Angelo State University Friday afternoon, resulting in a cancelled game.  Lightning strikes within the eight mile radius kept occurring, pushing the game past the NCAA three hour window.
 
The first lightening delay occurred forty-seven minutes into the game.  At the time, the Skyhawks trailed Angelo State, 3-1.
 
The game will not be rescheduled.
 
FLC will travel to Western State Colorado University Sunday for a non-conference match at 11 a.m.
