DURANGO, Colo. – January 27, 2018 – Saturday's 74-43 home win over Colorado Christian University marked the seventh time the Fort Lewis College women's basketball team held their opponent to under 50 points in a game. The Skyhawks are 7-0 this season when holding their opponent to less than 50 points.
FLC improves to 17-4 overall and 11-4 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while keeping their home record perfect at 12-0. The loss drops CCU to 6-13 on the season (4-10 RMAC).
The Skyhawks, who never trailed against the Cougars, led by as many as 35 points in the second half.
Senior guard
Astrea Reed led all players with 16 points and a game high four assists.
Vivian Gray sank 5-of-14 field goals as part of her 11 points and added 11 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season.
Alyssa Yocky came off the bench to net 13 points after hitting 5-of-8 from the floor (1-of-3 from three-point range) and both free throw attempts. She matched a career high five steals and pulled down four rebounds.

Kayla Herrera's 12 points came from long range as she finished with five field goals.
The Skyhawks hit 40.9 percent from the floor (27-of-66) and 61.9 percent (13-of-21) from the charity stripe. FLC held a 45-35 rebounding advantage over CCU, and outscored the Cougars in the paint, 38-14.
FLC will remain at home Feb. 2-3 when they play host to New Mexico Highlands University and Colorado State University-Pueblo. Both games will tip-off at 5:30 p.m.
