Lacrosse Travels to Pueblo for Non-Conference Match

  • The Fort Lewis College women's lacrosse team will play at CSU-Pueblo in a non-conference game on Saturday at 11 a.m.
     
  • FLC holds a 0-1 overall record, while the ThunderWolves will be opening their season against the Skyhawks.
     
  • FLC opened their season last Saturday and narrowly lost to No. 22 Colorado Mesa University, 17-16. 
     
  • Kelli Warmouth scored eight goals – the second most in school history – against the Mavericks.  Warmouth led FLC in shot attempts (12) and shots on goal (nine).  She was successful on all five free position shots.
     
  • Freshman Regan Olson recorded her first career goal and hat trick after she finished with three goals.  All three of her shot attempts landed on goal. 
     
  • The Skyhawks will play six road games before their first game at Ray Dennison Memorial Field. The Skyhawks will play their home opener on Mar. 24 against Regis University at 11 a.m.   
     
  • Fort Lewis falls in the top five in the RMAC in multiple categories including goals per game (third, 16), points per game (fifth, 17), shots per game (T-fourth, 29), shot percentage (third, .552) and man-up goals (first, 3).
     
  • Warmouth leads the league in goals per game (8), shots per game (12) and man-up goals per game (3).
     
  • FLC will travel to Regis University on Mar. 3 for a non-conference match at 1 p.m.
