COLORADO SPRINGS – February 24, 2018 – After finishing the regular season with a 14-8 record in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference standings, the Fort Lewis College women's basketball team received the No. 6 seed in the RMAC championship tournament, announced tonight by the league office.
 
The Skyhawks tied with Regis University but lost in the tiebreaker and will play at No. 3 seed Black Hills State University on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m.
 
In their only meeting during the regular season, the Skyhawks lost a 53-48 decision on Jan. 12 at BHSU.
 
The winner of Tuesday's quarterfinal game will play the winner between No. 2 seed MSU Denver and No. 7 seed Colorado Mesa University on March 2.
