Biography

HIGH SCHOOL: Smith piled up several accolades at Fruita Monument including First Team All-Conference in three straight seasons (2016-18), along with the Daily Sentinel Sports Award nominee and varsity captain for three seasons. The honors also extended to her academic career where she took home Honors in Excellence, Highest Honors, Superintendent Scholar, AP Scholar, Student of the Month and Academic All-State First Team.

Smith tallied 16 points, seven goals and two assists, her senior season helping the Wildcats to a 12-4 record and 8-0 mark in taking the Southwestern League and advancing to the state playoffs. She's averaged at least seven goals over the past three seasons, going for a high of eight during her sophomore campaign. She went for 19 points that season as well, adding a trio of assists.
