Tyler Amerman joined the Skyhawks men's soccer program as an assistant coach in June 2016.
Amerman was a part of a UC coaching staff that helped lead the program to its seventh consecutive regular season championship and back to back National Final Four appearances.
Amerman also has an extensive coaching background in youth soccer which he’s held titles of Director of Coaching, Program Director and Academy Director in the Colorado Rush, Colorado Rapids and West Virginia Futbol organizations.
A three-year starter as a midfielder and defender for the Colorado Mesa University Mavericks, Amerman played for CMU from 2007-09. The Mavericks began competing as a NCAA varsity sport in men’s soccer in 2007. Amerman helped guide CMU to its highest national ranking at the time (18th).
He earned his undergraduate degree from Colorado Mesa University in Kinesiology: Sports Management and his Master’s Degree from University of Northern Colorado in Coaching Education.
