Baptista Filipe settled right into the Fort Lewis lineup, starting in all 17 matches for the Skyhawks and racking up 1,196 minutes (70.4 mins/match), good for the seventh-most on the roster... scored his first goal donning the blue and gold, and the second of his career, against #22 University of Colorado Colorado Springs (Oct. 16)... also made his first career assists against MSU Denver (Oct. 5)... finished with three total points for the season... helped direct the Fort Lewis offense that ranked first in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and sixth in NCAA Division II (regular season) with 2.65 goals per match and first in the RMAC and fifth in DII (regular season) with 17.65 shots per match... led to being named Honorable Mention All-RMAC... rifled off 20 total shots (0.05% shot percentage) and placed eight shots on goal (40.0% shots-on-goal percentage)... drew three cautions. 

Prior to FLC: Baptista Filipe played his freshman season at Wingate University (NCAA DII), a member of the South Atlantic Conference, in Wingate, North Carolina... made 11 starts across his 15 matches played to help the Bulldogs to a 6-8-1 overall record, 4-7 record in SAC play, and a first-round appearance in the SAC Tournament... scored his first collegiate goal against Emory & Henry University (Nov. 2)... registered 915 minutes (61 mins/match)... took 12 total shots (0.83% shot percentage) and placed six shots on-goal (50.0% shots-on-goal percentage)... drew three cautions... captained a U19 National Championship team. 

Personal: Born June 16, 2004... son of Arminda Baptista... has one sibling, Manuela... enjoys going to the beach, hanging out with friends, and listening to music... also a great cook... favorite musical artist is Gson and his favorite food is carbonara... intends on majoring in International Business while at FLC.
