Sean Claussen was named head coach of the Fort Lewis College women's lacrosse team in August 2017.
Claussen served as the Skyhawks women's assistant coach from January 2011 to January 2016. As the assistant coach, he primarily worked with the goalkeepers and defensive unit. Claussen also helped plan and execute drills to improve player performance, strength and conditioning, as well as assisting in team travel arrangements, recruiting, and fundraising efforts.
In 2017, he coached youth lacrosse for the Durango Parks and Recreation department.
A 2016 graduate of Fort Lewis College, Claussen earned a degree in Exercise Science while competing on the FLC men's lacrosse club program.
