Ashley (Tibbetts) Wiman joins the FLC volleyball coaching staff as an assistant alongside Coach Tarnauskaite in 2020.
Wiman attended North Central Texas College in 2004-05 where she earned her Associate of Science degree before moving on to McMurry University, a NCAA Division III program in Abilene, Texas. She earned her Bachelor or Art degree in Exercise Sport Science in 2007.
During her playing career, Wiman was a starting outside hitter and middle blocker all four years of college. She earned multiple All-Conference honors, including Second Team American Southwest Conference honors in 2005 and 2006 while at McMurry. During her decorated career with the War Hawks, Wiman set the school record for total blocks in a match (16) and ranks ninth all-time in program history with 200 total blocks. Her 377 kills in 2006 also ties for the fifth most in a single season.
Following her collegiate playing career, Wiman served as an assistant coach at McMurry, as well as an assistant coach for club teams associated with the West Texas Heat.
