Kendra Swackenberg was named the full-time Assistant Volleyball Coach for the Skyhawks in June of 2019 following a tremendous playing career as a setter for Fort Lewis College from 2015-18.
Swackenberg, a team captain for the Skyhawks her senior season, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health and with 2,184 career assists; the fifth most all-time in program history.
She earned Setter of the Week in the RMAC three times during her career and was an All-Conference Honorable Mention selection as a senior.
Academically, Swackenberg earned RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll three times and was the recipient of the Jan Wilson Hetzler Outstanding Senior Female Athlete of the Year award and Skyhawk Pride Leadership award in 2018.
The Brighton, Colorado native was a prep star, as well, as she was a four-time, First-Team All-Conference selection in the East Metro Athletic Conference while playing at Brighton High School. Swackenberg twice earned EMAC Player of the Year.
