Dayson Dush made his move to Durango in the summer of 2025, with the 2025-26 basketball season marking his first on staff with the Skyhawks.
A Hooper all of his life, Dush had been heavily involved in the Arizona basketball scene since graduating from Desert Vista High School in Phoenix back in 2020. Dush stayed local, signing with the Park University Buccaneers in Gilbert, Arizona. A two-year member of the PU men’s basketball team, he also spent time working as an assistant coach and head freshman coach at Seton Catholic Preparatory High School (2022-25), as an assistant coach for the Arizona Select Under Armor Circuit Team (2025), and was the head coach for the Arizona Select Basketball Club 14U and 15U age groups (2021-24), and the Arizona Fire Basketball Club 16U team (2023).
Dush graduated from Park University in the spring of 2024, earning his bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in Leadership.
