Matthew Smith, M.D. is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with Mercy Orthopedic Associates and Mercy Sports Medicine. Dr. Smith earned his medical degree from Northwestern University‚ Äôs Feinberg School of Medicine at Chicago and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Smith specializes in sports injuries, hip, knee and shoulder joint replacement, as well as, hip cartilage repairs and reconstruction. Prior to joining Mercy, Dr. Smith worked as an assistant team physician for the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies as part of a fellowship with the Steadman Hawkins Clinic-Denver.
