Sears begins his first season with the Skyhawks in 2026, bringing more than 30 years of volleyball experience as a coach, director, player, and administrator. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to developing athletes, growing volleyball programs, and mentoring at every level of the game.
Currently, Jason serves as a Head Coach with MadFrog Volleyball Club, leading both the 14 National White and 18 National Black teams to USAV nationals this past season. He has also coached at several of the nation's premier clubs, including Excel Volleyball Club, Dallas Summit Volleyball Club, and Dallas Juniors Volleyball Club. His coaching experience spans athletes of all ages and competitive levels, from youth development programs to elite national teams.
In addition to his club coaching experience, Jason has served as a Varsity Head Coach at both Ursuline Academy of Dallas and John Paul II High School, helping student-athletes achieve success both on and off the court.
As the former Volleyball Director for Sportsplex at Valley View and Dallas Junior Volleyball, Jason managed year-round volleyball programming, oversaw dozens of teams and coaches each season, directed camps and clinics, and helped develop hundreds of athletes annually. His leadership played a significant role in expanding volleyball opportunities and fostering player development throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
