DURANGO, Colo. – April 16, 2007 – Auditions for the 2007-08 Skyhawk Cheer Squad were held on April 14th at the Whalen gymnasium. Applicants were judged on their athletic ability, cheerleading technique and their ability to learn new material by a panel of expert judges.
Congratulations to the following applicants for meeting or exceeding the baseline score: Rachel Hall, Veronica Ware, Alexandria Carrillo, Lacey Brooks, Megan Ver Vaecke, Jacquelynn Garroutte, Brooke Miller, Amanda Watts, Rachele Hines, and Anders Olson.
Auditions were judged by Skyhawk Cheer Fitness coach, Beth Brunso; former Durango High School Cheerleader and Fort Lewis alumnae, LeeAnn Jackson; former cheerleading coach, Dave Imming and UCA International Traveling Team member and former Fort Lewis college football player, Jake Martinez.
