Garrett Sapakoff paced the men with a 15^th place finish in the 8K race with a time of 24:45.6 on Saturday at the Fort Hays State University Open. It is the second fastest 8K time in school history. Sapakoff was 32 seconds off from breaking Christian Gering's record of 24:13.17.
