Biography

2019-20: As a redshirt junior, Farris took a major step forward and solidifed himself as one of the best forwards in NCAA Division II as he set career-highs in scoring (23.9 PPG), rebounds (6.0), minutes (28.0) and assists (34). The 23.9 points per game for Farris were the second highest in the RMAC during the regular season and was the 11th highest per game scoring total among all NCAA Division II players. His performance earned him First Team All-RMAC, D2CCA South Central Region Second Team, and NABC South Central All-District Second Team honors. He heads into his senior season 15th on the program's all-time scoring list (1,257 points).

2018-19: Farris received a medical redshirt after a shoulder injury cut his season short just six games in. He had averaged 12.3 points and 3.8 rebounds per game prior to the injury.

2017-18: Farris played in all 31 games, averaged 8.1 points and 3.2 rebounds along with 28 assists, 10 steals, 26 blocks, made 100 field goals and 19 from long range. He poured in 31 points against New Mexico Highlands while playing 25 minutes. He made 12 field goals in that game and four three-pointers. Farris grabbed nine rebounds against Chadron State, dished out three assists versus South Dakota Mines, sent back five blocks against Northern New Mexico and had two steals against CSU-Pueblo. Reached double-figures in scoring on 12 different occasions and had at least five rebounds in eight different games.
 
2016-17: RMAC Co-Freshman of the Year ... Named FLC Student Athlete of the Week on Nov.11 and Jan.30 ... Appeared in 30 games and started three of them… Scored in double digits 11 times… Averaged 8.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game while shooting 56.4% from the floor… Grabbed a career high nine rebounds while pouring in 15 points against Northern New Mexico on Nov. 19… Scored a career high 24 points while making a career high nine field goals at Colorado Christian on Jan. 28… Ranked eighth in the RMAC shooting 56.4% from the court.

2015-16: Redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Graduated from Hutto High School in 2015 ... Played football (wide receiver), basketball (power forward, small forward and center), and baseball (pitcher) for the Hippos ... Received Newcomer of the Year, Bx First-Team All-District, three time Academic All-District, three time tournament MVP.
