Elle Fracker is in her third year as head coach of the Fort Lewis College softball program. She was named the sixth head coach of the Skyhawks program in August 2015.
In her third year at the helm, Fracker holds an overall record of 21-75 overall and 17-56 in league games. Six Skyhawks earned RMAC post-season awards and eight were named to the Academic All-RMAC team.
Fracker has served as the head softball coach at Valley City State University in Valley City, North Dakota since August 2013. The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) and VCSU Coach of the Year, Fracker had two consecutive winning seasons with more than 20 wins.
Fracker comes to Fort Lewis College with more than seven years of collegiate coaching experience, including high level involvement with strength and conditioning programs and fundraising events.
In her first year as head coach at VCSU, Fracker led the team to their first regular season championship in 24 years. This past season, the Vikings were named an NAIA Scholar Team, and six student-athletes earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition.
Among her day-to-day operations as head coach, Fracker successfully ran fundraising programs that exceeded $20,000 each year. She was directly responsible for spearheading the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and acted as a faculty representative.
Prior to taking the reigns as head coach of the Vikings, Fracker held the assistant coach position at Valley City State for the 2012-13 season. She also served as the assistant softball coach and resident liaison at Oberlin College in Ohio in 2010-11, and the assistant coach at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pa., from 2008-10.
Fracker graduated from Indiana State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Sport Management. She lettered all four years on the ISU varsity softball team.
