DURANGO, CO – November 16, 2009 - Fort Lewis College and Piedra Vista High School are partnering up to help kick off the 2009-10 Fort Lewis Women's Basketball Home Opener against the Eagles of Northern New Mexico College.
The game is set for Tuesday, November 17th, 2009 at 6:00PM at Piedra Vista High School located in Farmington, NM.
Head Coach Mark Kellogg of the Skyhawks said “We are looking forward to expanding our “home court” into the Farmington area.” “This game will be a great opportunity for Fort Lewis College and our women's basketball program. Playing in Farmington also allows us to showcase our nationally ranked team to a different fan base.”
President of Fort Lewis College, Brad Bartel commented “This is a great opportunity to reach out to our neighbors in New Mexico and be able to showcase Fort Lewis talent.”
