February 25, 2010. Durango, CO. - The Fort Lewis College men's and women's basketball teams represented in the most recent Central Region Rankings. The women remain atop the Central Region with an in-region record of 23-2. They have been ranked #1 in the region since the first regional ranking was released. The men have jumped from the #8 slot to the #7 spot with an in-region record of 15-7. The top 8 teams in the region will participate in the NCAA Regional Tournament.
The Women are on track to be the first team in FLC Basketball history to host a regional tournament. If the men can remain in the top 8 of the Central Region, they will most likely be heading to Minnesota for the fourth consecutive year.
