Box Score DURANGO, Colo. – Madyson Wellcome's first goal of the season was a big one, as she led the Fort Lewis College women's soccer team to a 1-0 win over CSU-Pueblo Sunday afternoon at Dirks Field.
 
Wellcome's goal came with just less than four minutes left in regulation.  Playing off a corner kick, Emma Cannis headed the ball toward the goal that Wellcome scooped up and finished.  It also proved to be the only goal of the game as Fort Lewis improved to 11-3 overall and 7-3 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
 
The loss drops the ThunderWolves to 5-8 and 2-8 in the league. 
 
Fort Lewis recorded 27 shots to the Pack's three (10 shots on goal), and did not allow CSUP to post a shot on goal.
 
The Skyhawks will face Metro State this Friday at Dirks Field.  Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.  FLC will travel to UC-Colorado Springs Sunday morning for an 11 a.m. match.
